Every month over 5000 copies of Seafood New Zealand are personally addressed and mailed to every quota owner, license holder and registered commercial fishing vessel owner in New Zealand. Copies also go out to other industry groups - it is, in fact, the commercial fisherman's preferred publication. It's An A4, glossy, full colour magazine that can be found on fishing vessels as well as in corporate foyers.

A Research First 2007 readership survey commissioned by the New Zealand Seafood Industry Council found at least 3-4 people read the magazine per copy - that's almost 18,000 readers. In addition, 82% rate the magazine ahead of all other publications, with 92% saying that Seafood New Zealand provided good quality, relevant information.
